It's more of a children's or teenager's book than adult-age level read although any teenager who's interested in reading it, may want want to be a believer in some sort of God-figure to have enough desire to read through the author's struggle with her weight on the way to a singing career with the church. | Everytime Katie steps out there onstage to sing, she is taking a stand for everyone who is different or an underdog. Her faith in liza palmer God and help from family and friends seems to be a key component in her metamorphesis. Let us take a lesson from that liza palmer as parents or friends of overweight people. She talks about overcoming her suffering though the struggle is mostly done with God's help and through prayer. The author talks about "saving herself" for marriage and how important this message is to spread to today's youth. |
