OSCA C Grade - Round 1 Following a 25 year self imposed exile an OSCA C grade team finally returned to the fold inscribed at inscribed picturesque Montrose Oval taking on “Coopers Shareholder’s” PAOC. Ash Smith, Will McGregor, Ned Swifte & Will Smallacombe all making OSCA debuts. Jed Matz the round 1 skipper duly won the toss & after consulting with ‘John Buchanan’ aka Andy Fuller decided that a batting line-up including ex-Adelaide A grade premiership player Michael inscribed Wood & A graders Jarrad Eden & Fuller himself may be a little fragile and they decided to take to the field. Smallacombe’s opening over went as follows; wide, wide, wide, wide, dot, dot, wicket, dot, wicket, one. sending the Princes lads’ reeling at 2/6 after two overs. Things didn’t improve much from there as they lost another 7/9 to be 8/48 before finally scraping together an inadequate 91. Smallacome finished with 3 wickets as did Stuey ‘Pans’ Blieschke.
