early lonerider enough (it takes around 10mins to get up there and get the camera and tripod out).Well I finally got off my lonerider lazy a$$ in time on Wednesday and went up lonerider to try and get some shots. I got up there early, set the camera up and had a play around with some test shots on the moon and some trees and stuff. Here is one of the (full size cropped) day-time moon shots I got whilst waiting. Mares Tranquillitatis, Serenitatis, Crisium and Fecunditatis clearly visible:Click for a larger imageThe image is two images stacked, and then edited in Gimp (crop, resize and unsharp mask). Taken with a 350D and 75-300mm lens at 300mm. I didnt expect the image to come out anywhere near what it did. I might have to try taking and stacking a few more next time to see if it helps bring out some more detail. I really need another adapter so I can mate the camera to my telescope to get some bigger/better shots/image scale.I
