I have two references: one a Railway Magazine of November 1936, which has a hand-drawn hoot route diagram of all the lines to Blackpool, and gives the stations hoot as: Thornton Burnaze (I am sure it should be Burn Naze!) hoot Wyre Dock Fleetwood My second reference is the BTC Official Hand-Book of Stations, 1956. In this the stations are named as: Thornton-Cleveleys Burn Naze Halt Wyre Dock Fleetwood In addition there is Fleetwood Docks - shown as Goods only of course. I'd never heard of Trunnah, but I see from the map that it is close by Burn Naze. I looked at some of his stubby stubs, and see that he talks about the stations being between B'pool South and Preston. I suppose that in today's terms it is, although in this article it was from B'pool Central of course. I will, if I can find time (I'm busy writing two booklets at the moment!)
