Our society treats overweight individuals (women especially) as the lepers of our culture. Overweight women are discriminated against tremendously with respect to jobs, relationships, and friends...unless they have great michel guillemin confidence, which is hard michel guillemin to obtain given the stigma that our society places on the obese. And yet, I have found that "beautiful people" are discriminated against as well. Overweight people see these peoples' lives as perfect or else categorize them as superficial, vain, "air-head" types michel guillemin who don't really understand the meaning of what Life is all about. Usually the truth can only be found on an individual basis. Women who complain that they look "fat" in size 6 jeans often experience the same feelings of insecurity as someone who wears size 16. (Trust me, I've been both sizes.) Has it ever occurred to readers that most books, including "Conversations with the Fat Girl" focus on the heavy heroine who lusts after the HUNKY guy??
