I'm usually okay with sad, especially when there's self help a great lesson or a happy ending. I picked this book up because I thought I would get a better understanding of how very overweight people feel and how they live there lives day to day. I was way off on that - what I got was a terribly depressing detailed account of a horribly abusive and neglectful childhood. The only plus about this book is that it is a very quick read so you can get it over with quickly. |
