First it made me angry, then it made me decide to be kinder to myself as an on-and-off fat person. I fear that most of the stellar reviews are the numbers from skinny people who deep down loved pitying [and feeling superior the numbers to] the little fat girl who hates herself. And I did feel sorry for this woman as a child. Her mother and grandmother were truly from hell. I believe that most of her problems are not about being fat, but about being physically and verbally and sexually abused. I looked up her picture on the internet, and she is perfectly normal looking for a woman in her sixties, not beautiful, but more youthful than many at that age. |
