Piers is a media whore for his boss Rupert Murdoch. He attacks whoever he is told to attack, or at the very least, who he knows it is in his employer's interest to attack. Does anybody know songs Piers'work history? I don't if this is true or not, but one journo acquantaince of mine once told me some years back that Murdoch had wheeled Piers into various cities around the world where Murdoch had press to do hatchet jobs on governments that Murdoch did not like, and that these governments came in various colours of the politcal spectrum - not just pinkish. Yes Piers is a right-winger by nature but such is the intergrity of the man that if News execs said that they were now throwing their weight behind Latham, Piers would be on to the morals of Ross Cameron, the lies of Howard and the sheer embarrassment of Downer quicker than he could say yes to another
