It sounded like a winning partnership: Nine would get some luxury yachts Hollywood glamour that potentially broadened the games' appeal and Columbia TriStar Films would spread the word that Arnie was back on screen. That's been helped by the subsequent ads for The Footy Show that show Fatty Vautin doing a bad Arnie impression. But luxury yachts not everyone believes the endorsement has worked. Writing in the magazine AdNews, Neil Haymann and Todd Martin, from the advertising agency Amnesia, have criticised it as a perfect example of globalisation gone wrong. The concept appeared to make sense - a big, muscly action hero introducing big, muscly sporting heroes.
