The voting processes and selling on ebay results for My Restaurant Rules are about as transparent as a lead lined box. With no visible accountability and the need to selling on ebay make up on ratings that were not what they expected, the opportunity for fiddling with results is presented to the production company. In the world of commercial television the only certainty is that the money will always beat integrity. So I was thinking which would be the best possible result financially for MRR. The answer is Perth. For the start of the show each couple were given a shell of a building to fit out as a restaurant and some startup cash to do it. |

It looks like they're taking the failed concept of people proposing on camera and kicking it up a notch. (What was the name of that show with the elaborate public proposals? Marry Me?) I'm sure the only thing holding back thousands of potential grooms is the fact that they haven't yet been ambushed by a celebrant, some guests and their partner in a white dress. |
