Liza Palmer is truly a gifted new rape stories writer and I certainly plan to rape stories read anything she writes. Palmer's style of writing is similar to the wildly popular MaryJanice Davidson's in that Liza Palmer's characters are irreverent, spunky, and just terrifically funny. This book was so thought provoking to me. At times in my life, I have been one of the "beautiful, popular" girls; and at times in my life, I have been overweight. Most of the time, I have been somewhere in-between. "Conversations with the Fat Girl" has NEEDED to be written for a long time. Our society treats overweight individuals (women especially) as the lepers of our culture.
