Maggie loved Olivia for over 15 years as a true Best Friend. Olivia greatly 100 disappointed Maggie and certainly wasn't the friend that she should have been. But even through all her insecurity and self-absorption (and what bride isn't?), Olivia still cared greatly for Maggie. Olivia had moved to another stage 100 in her life and had become a different person and I don't think that Olivia had the confidence she needed to "come out" as a former fat person. Olivia was wrong. But what Maggie did, knowing how much it would hurt her former friend, was truly malicious. I mean, she absolutely ruined what is usually the biggest event in a woman's life. It was unworthy of her. The best thing for Maggie to have done was to confront Olivia about her actions WHILE they were happening OR to refuse to attend the wedding.
