Personally, it's half the reason I like going to the footy. The game is always good but the Brookie hill shenanigans are worth paying the admission price alone.So, how did a guy who grew up in Eastwood come to be a Manly arl96 supporter? Well, it's arl96 inherited from my father I guess. He spent the majority of his teen years living in places like Harbord and Seaforth and like most other kids in that area, became a Manly supporter.Going to Brookvale was an integral part of my upbringing and it's probably a central tenet to my "father-son" relationship. I can remember walking into the ground as a very young kid, my dad with his arm on my shoulder pointing out various first graders as they walked around the concourse whilst we munched away on devon and tomato sauce sandwiches brought from home.
