With 12 balls to go OSCA still need 17 to win. Tom Bourne joined Harvey and the two heroes’ of the screen grabs Marion win were hoping to pull off another screen grabs victory. These two scrambled a few two’s & ones to get the equation to 12 to win off 7 balls, Harvey was on strike a one big shot would almost do it. Luck again went against us & after what seemed like screen grabs a huge delay Harv’s was given out caught behind for an exceptional 61, to leave OSCA 12 runs short. A huge chase just falling short. Credit to the SPOC batsmen for posting a formidable score and especially to the two SPOC bowlers who bowled 54 out of the 79 overs, but one cannot wonder how different the result would had been if the coin had landed the right way up on week one. The A’s still remain in the top four with the only pre-xmas losses being a narrow round 1 defeat by the unbeaten Gepps Cross & this narrow loss to SPOC.
